Join Ashford Wide for this year’s Remembrance Sunday parade and service on Sunday 8th November. At Ashford’s War Memorial. Service people, local community groups including Guides and Scouts, and businesses will be sharing in Remembrance with Ashford Wide and the people of Ashford.
The parade begins at 10.45am with the service culminating at the 11th hour.
Please be prepared for the potential of bad weather as this is an outdoor event, and bring any mobility or rest aids with you.
During the parade and the service, please remain behind the barriers and on the pavements at all time. If you are a community or organisation and wish to be a part of the service and this is your first year taking part, please email [email protected] us for more information. If your child is taking as part of a group, please contact the group directly.
Individuals and groups not part of the service can lay wreaths after service and parade have completed at 11.30am.

Please donate generously to our Remembrance Day fund, or why not sponsor a poppy in remembrance of loved one, or with your business name or logo? All donations go to running Ashford’s Remembrance day events.
Would you want to lay a wreath at the service?
Please email [email protected] if you wish to purchase a medium sized wreath, with space for a you to attach your logo, through Ashford Wide. The cost of this is £32, which includes the wreath and postage. The wreath will be available to collect on the morning of the service at the War Memorial. The cut-off for ordering a wreath is Friday 23 October.
After the service
Service people, veterans, and dignitaries are welcome to join Ashford Wide for tea at the Fordbridge Centre on Clarendon Road after the ceremony.
